Stretch & Bend App

Project Overview:

This project focused on creating a neumorphic user interface for the Stretch Bend app to provide a modern and visually engaging experience. The design harnesses depth and subtle shadows to create a tactile feel that enhances user interaction. The style brings cohesion across screens while celebrating the playful nature of stretching animations.

Objective:

The objective was to develop an interface that feels intuitive and inviting through the use of neumorphic design principles. The goal was to strengthen user engagement by creating buttons and controls that appear soft yet responsive. It was also important to ensure that the interface maintains readability and accessibility despite the unconventional visual style.

Challenges:

One challenge involved striking a balance between aesthetic finesse and usability since excessive neumorphic effects can impair clarity. Another challenge was maintaining consistent contrast levels to keep the interface accessible. Additionally designing the layout to adapt gracefully across multiple device sizes while preserving visual depth required careful implementation.

Design Process:

The design process began with sketching interface components following neumorphic guidelines to define shapes shadows and light sources. Interactive mockups were then built to test how users perceive and interact with the UI elements. Usability tests helped identify confusing elements which were then refined for clearer visual feedback. The final design integrated responsive layouts and scalable assets for implementation.
